Administer ecological and environmental monitoring; Release ecological and environmental information including environmental quality and ecological conditions; Formulate and implement policies, plans, administrative regulations, departmental rules, institutions, standards and specifications for ecological and environmental monitoring; Establish and implement the quality management system for ecological and environmental monitoring; Plan the setup of ecological and environmental monitoring stations; Organize ecological and environmental monitoring, monitoring of greenhouse gas emission reductions, and monitoring during emergencies; Investigate and evaluate national ecological and environmental quality, issue precautions and forecasts; Develop and manage the national ecological and environmental monitoring website; Establish and implement an ecological and environmental quality announcement system; Compile national ecological and environmental quality reports; Compile bulletins on the ecological and environmental state of China.
