National environmental protection standards
Technical Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment of Urban Rail Transit (HJ 453-2008)This technical guideline is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China, and Regulations on the Administration of Construction Project Environmental Protection, preventing and controlling environmental pollution, improving environmental quality, and regulating the environmental impact assessment of urban rail transit. 
This technical guideline provides the principles, contents, methods, and requirements for the environmental impact assessment of construction projects on urban rail transit. 
This technical guideline shall apply to the environmental impact assessment of construction projects on urban rail transit, which is rail-oriented like subway and light rail transit (LRT). The environmental impact assessment of construction projects for monorail, streetcar, automatic guide rail, and linear induction motor track transportation shall refer to this technical guideline. 
This technical guideline shall not apply to magnetic levitated transportation system. 
Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment-Atmospheric Environment (HJ 2.2-2008)This guideline is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People’s Republic of China, Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, and Regulations on the Administration of Construction Project Environmental Protection, preventing and controlling air pollution, improving environmental quality, and guiding the assessment of the impact of construction projects on atmospheric environment. 
This technical guideline provides the general principles, contents, procedures, methods, and requirements for the atmospheric environmental impact assessment. 
This guideline shall apply to the assessment of the impact of new or rebuilt and expanded construction projects on atmospheric environment. The environmental impact assessment of regions or plans on the air may refer to this guideline. 
This guideline is the first amendment to Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment-Atmospheric Environment (HJ/T2.2-93). The amendments are made to the following aspects: the method for grading the assessment work and determining the assessment scope, the contents and requirements for surveys on the status quo of ambient air quality, the contents and requirements for surveys on meteorological monitoring data, the method and requirements for prediction and assessment of the atmospheric environmental impact, and the recommended mode to predict environmental impact. 
Environmental Impact Assessment-Atmospheric Environment (HJ/T2.2-93) shall be abolished as of the day this guideline goes to effect. 
This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people’s health, and regulating the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in water. 
This standard provides the isotope dilution HRGC-HRMS for the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in water. 
This standard is an amendment to Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins and Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-furans by Isotope Dilution HRGC/HRMS (HJ/T 77-2001). It shall replace the requirements in HJ/ T77-2001 for the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in liquid samples, as of the day it goes to effect.
This standard shall apply to the sampling of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in raw water, waste water, drinking water and water for industrial use, and to the treatment of such samples, and their qualitative and quantitative analysis. 
Ambient Air and Waste Gas Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) Isotope Dilution HRGC-HRMS (HJ 77.2-2008)This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people’s health, and regulating the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in ambient air and waste gas. 
This standard provides the isotope dilution HRGC-HRMS for determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in ambient air and waste gas.
This standard is an amendment to Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins and Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-furans by Isotope Dilution HRGC/HRMS (HJ/T 77-2001). It shall replace the requirements in HJ/ T77-2001 for the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in gaseous samples, as of the day it goes to effect. 
This standard shall apply to the sampling of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in the ambient air, the treatment of such samples, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis. 
This standard shall apply to the sampling of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in waste gas from fixed emission sources, the treatment and the qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Solid Waste Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) Isotope Dilution HRGC-HRMS (HJ 77.3-2008)This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people’s health, and regulating the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in solid waste. 
This standard provides the isotope dilution HRGC-HRMS for determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in solid waste.

Soil and Sediment Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) Isotope Dilution HRGC-HRMS (HJ 77.4-2008)This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, protecting the environment, safeguarding people’s health, and regulating the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in soil and sediment. 
This standard provides the isotope dilution HRGC-HRMS for determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in soil and sediment.
This standard is an amendment to Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins and Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-furans by Isotope Dilution HRGC/HRMS (HJ/T 77-2001). It shall replace the requirements in HJ/ T77-2001 on the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in soil and sediment, as of the day it goes to effect. 
This standard shall apply to the analysis of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in environmental surveys on nationwide regional soil background, farmland soil environment, soil impact assessment of construction projects, soil pollution accidents, as well as river, lake, and sea sediments. 
The following standards shall be abolished as of the day the above standards go to effect:
