Announcement No. 80 2006
(Promulgated by the State Environmental Protection Administration and the General Administration of Customs of China on December 30, 2006)
Based on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (2007 ed.)by the World Customs Organization as well as the adjusted commodity codes of China, the revised List of Toxic Chemicals Severely Restricted for Import and Export of China (2007 ed.) is now promulgated and shall enter into force as of January 1, 2007.
Any party who intends to import or export the chemicals included in the List of Toxic Chemicals Severely Restricted for Import and Export of China (2007 ed.) should apply for the Registration Certificate for Environmental Management on Import/Export of Toxic Chemicals and the Clearance Notification for Environmental Management on Import/Export of Toxic Chemicals at State Environmental Protection Administration according to the new commodity codes. The above-mentioned documents issued in 2006 remain valid until their expiration date.
In case of any discrepancy between this Announcement and the Announcement No. 65 in 2006 jointly released by State Environmental Protection Administration and General Administration of Customs, this Announcement shall prevail.
This Announcement is hereby especially made.
