This standard is formulated for enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, Radioactive Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, and Administrative Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on the Inspection on Civil Nuclear Facility Safety, protecting the environment, safeguarding the human health, and setting the emergency-related parameters for nuclear fuel cycle facilities. This standard specifies the range, content, and format of the emergency-related parameters for nuclear fuel cycle facilities. Appendixes A~C to this standard are regulatory and Appendix D is referential. This standard is formulated under the organization of the Department of Nuclear Facility Safety Regulation and Department of Science, Technology, and Standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. This standard is drafted by Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and Zhengzhou Branch of China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd.. This standard was adopted by the Ministry of Environmental Protection on July 7, 2017 and shall go to effect as of August 1, 2017. The Ministry of Environmental Protection is responsible for the interpretations of the text.
