This standard is developed for the purposes of enforcing the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Environmental Protection, protecting the environment, safeguarding the public health, and setting standards for the determination of bioavailable form of elements. This standard specifies the extraction with buffered DTPA solution/inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry for determination of the bioavailable form of eight elements, which is, copper, iron, manganese, zinc, cadmium, cobalt, nickel, and lead.
