The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementation of laws such as Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste, Law of the People’s Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution and Law of the People’s Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Promotion of Circular Economy and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Product Quality, protecting the environment; preventing the pollution of co-processing solid waste in cement kilns and facilitating the progress of production process and pollution control technologies. The current standard specifies the requirements such as  technology, characteristics of feed-in waste, operation, pollutant emission limit, pollutant control of cement product, monitoring and supervision of co-processing solid waste in cement kilns. The current standard is released for the first time.
