Water quality-Determination of fecal coliform-Membrane filtration

This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, protecting the environment, safeguarding the human health, and setting standards for the determination of fecal coliform in water. This standard specifies the membrane filtration method used to determine fecal coliform in surface water, groundwater, industrial wastewater, and municipal wastewater. This standard is the amendment to the membrane filtration method specified by Water quality-Determination of fecal coliform-Manifold zymotechnics and filter membrane (HJ/T 347-2007).
