This Standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Promotion of Clean Production, further facilitating clean production in China, preventing eco destruction, protecting public health, facilitating economic development and providing technical support and guidance for the clean production of brewing industry. The current Standard is a recommended one and applicable to clean production examination, judgment of the potential and opportunities for clean production of the brewing industry as well as the performance examination system and public reporting system for clean production.
