This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China, and Radioactive Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, and setting standards for the environmental impact assessment of the uranium mining and milling decommissioning projects. This standard specifies the generic principles, contents, methods, and technical specifications for the environmental impact assessment of the uranium mining and milling decommissioning projects, as well as the requirements for the formulation of the environmental impact statements. This standard is the original version.
