This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, and guiding and standardizing the self-monitoring of pollution sources in paper industry. It specifies the general requirements for the self-monitoring of the pollution sources in the paper industry, the development of monitoring plans, and the basic contents and requirements for the information recording and reporting.
