This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Pollution from Environmental Noise, preventing and controlling community noise pollution, and improving the acoustic environmental quality. According to the provisions of the existing laws on the obligation of community noise sources to emit noise by the standards, this standard provides the limits and measurement method of the noise emission from equipment and facilities that may cause noise pollution in the vicinities of profitable cultural and recreational sites and business activities. This standard shall apply to the management, evaluation and control of equipment and facilities that are used by profitable cultural and recreational sites and business activities and that emit noise to the ambient. This standard is the first version.
