The standard is formulated in reference to the international standard of Method for the Measurement of Aircraft Noise from Ground (ISO 3891-1978) as well as the Annex 16 of Convention on International Civil Aviation of International Civil Aviation Organization. It stipulates the measurement conditions, measurement equipment, measurement method and the calculation method for the measurement data for aircraft noise around airport. It is applicable to the measurement of noise caused by aircraft takeoff, landing or low-altitude flying around the airport. The standard includes the contents of the following three aspects: a. measurement of noise caused by a single flying event; b. measurement of noise caused by a series of flying events; c. measurement of noise caused by the flying events within a certain period of time.
