This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, setting standards for the performance of automatic monitoring system of environmental noise, and enhancing the acoustic environment monitoring capacity. This standard specifies the technical requirements, performance indicators, and testing methods of the automatic monitoring system of environmental noise.
