This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, protecting the environment, safeguarding the human health, and setting standards for the determination of carbon monoxide in the stationary source emissions. This standard specifies the fixed potential by electrolysis method used to determine carbon monoxide in the stationary source emissions. The concentration provided in this standard is a general reference to the quality concentration or volume fraction. The Appendix A to this standard is referential.
