The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, reducing the impacts of ship anti-fouling paints on environment and human health during the production and utilization process and protecting the environment. The current standard specifies terminology and definition, basic requirements, technical contents and testing methods for environmental labeling products ─ ship anti-fouling paints . The current standard is applicable to various kinds of ship anti-fouling paints. The current standard is issued for the first time in China.
