The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementation of Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China; promoting the application of information technology in environmental protection and standardizing the processing and collection workflow of environmental dataset. The current standard specifies the process, contents, methods and requirement for environmental dataset processing and collection workflow in sharing and services of environmental data. Annex A of the current standard is a normative annex. Annex B is an informative annex. The current standard is released for the first time.
