The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementation of Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China; promoting the application of information technology in environmental protection, strengthening the process of test and acceptance of environmental information systems and ensuring the quality and performances of environmental information system. The current standard specifies the management processes such as design, implementation, monitoring, review, correction and prevention of test, check and acceptance of environmental information systems (software part). It is applied for guiding developer, user and third party to test, check and accept new software, secondary software and commercial software. Annex A of the current standard is an informative annex. The current standard is released for the first time.
