This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Opinions of the State Council on Strengthening the Major Tasks of Environmental Protection, preventing and controlling the environmental pollution, improving the environmental quality, and setting standards and guiding the standardization of internet of things in the environmental protection sector. This standard specifies the principles, architecture, and specifications for the standardization of the internet of things in the environmental protection sector.
