Measures on Management of Environmental Supervision Law Enforcement Certificates (MEP Decree No. 23) In accordance with Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China and Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Penalty, the Measures were formulated for the purpose of strengthening management of environmental supervision law enforcement certificates and regulating the conduct of environmental law enforcers. 
The measures apply to application, use and management of environmental supervision law enforcement certificates. 
Environmental supervision law enforcement certificates serve as the proof of identity and qualifications for environmental law enforcers to carry out inspections. 
MEP is in charge of management of national environmental supervision law enforcement certificates. Provincial EPBs are responsible for management of such certificates within their jurisdiction. MEP Bureau of Environmental Supervision and environmental supervision departments at provincial level are the implementing organizations for management of environmental supervision law enforcement certificates. 
Measures on Management of Certificates for Nuclear and Radiation Safety Inspectors (MEP Decree No. 24) In accordance with Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Radioactive Pollution, Regulation on the Supervision and Management of Civil Nuclear Safety Equipment and Regulation on the Safety and Protection of Radioisotopes and Radiation Devices, the measures were formulated for the purpose of strengthening certificate management for nuclear and radiation safety inspectors and regulating the inspection of nuclear and radiation safety. 
The measures apply for application, use and management of certificates for nuclear and radiation safety inspectors. 
MEP (National Nuclear Safety Administration) is responsible for certificate management of national nuclear and radiation safety inspectors. 
Provincial EPBs are in charge of management of certificates for radiation safety inspectors within their jurisdiction. 
Measures on Management of Permits for Storage and Disposal of Radioactive Solid Waste (MEP Decree No. 25) The measures were formulated for the purpose of enhancing supervision and management of storage and disposal of radioactive solid waste and regulating the permit for storage and disposal of radioactive solid waste in accordance with Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Radioactive Pollution and Regulations on Safety Management of Radioactive Waste. 
The measures apply to application, approval and management of permits for storage and disposal of radioactive solid waste. 
The storage permits and disposal permits shall be approved and issued by MEP.
Organizations holding storage permits or disposal permits shall assume the responsibility for the safety of radioactive solid waste they store or dispose of by law.  
Personnel engaged in storage or disposal of radioactive solid waste shall receive training and pass examination on management of radioactive waste management, radiation protection or environmental monitoring. 
Measures on Management of Import and Export of Ozone Depleting Substances The measures were formulated for the purpose of implementing Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer and its amendments and strengthening import and export management of ODS in accordance with Regulation on the Administration of Ozone Depleting Substances. 
The measures apply to activities that import or export, in any forms, ODS that are included in List of Regulated ODS for Import and Export in China, activities that send ODS under the List of Regulated ODS for Import and Export in China into or out of the customs of the People*s Republic of China through donation, samples, advertisement and return of goods. Activities shall be subject to related regulations otherwise specified in other laws and regulations. 
List of Regulated ODS for Import and Export in China was jointly prepared, adjusted and issued by MEP, Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs.  
National Standard on Environmental Protection 
Stationary source emission-Determination of hydrogen fluoride-Ion chromatography (HJ 688-2013) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China and Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law, protecting the environment, safeguarding human health and regulating the monitoring method of hydrogen fluoride in stationary source emissions.
The standard provides ion chromatography to determine hydrogen fluoride in stationary source emissions.
This is the first issuance of the standard.
Emission standard of pollutants for battery industry (GB30484-2013) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law, Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution and Marine Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, protecting the environment, preventing and controlling pollution and facilitating progress in the production process and pollution control technologies of battery industry. 
The standard provides limit for air and water pollutant discharges and requirements of monitoring and supervision on battery industrial companies and special discharge limits for water and air pollutants in key regions. The odor and environmental noise generated by above companies shall abide by related national pollution discharge standards and identification, treatment and disposal of solid waste generated shall conform to related national standard on solid waste pollution control.
This is the first issuance of the standard.
Emission standard of air pollutants for cement industry (GB 4915-2013 replacing GB 4915-2004) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China and Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law, protecting the environment, preventing and controlling pollution and facilitating progress in cement production process and pollution control technology.
The standard provides limit for air pollutant emissions and requirements of monitoring and supervision on cement manufacturers (including independent cement grinding system), cement raw material mine, bulk cement transit station, cement product manufacturers and their production facilities. The effluent pollutants and environmental noise generated by above companies shall abide by related national pollution discharge standards and identification, treatment and disposal of solid waste generated shall conform to related national standard on solid waste pollution control.
The first issuance of the standard was published in 1985, followed by the first revision and second revision in 1996 and 2004 respectively. This is the third revision.
Standard for pollution control on co-processing of solid wastes in cement kiln (GB 30485-2013) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of Chinathe Law of People*s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Pollution by Solid WastesAir Pollution Prevention and Control LawLaw on Promotion of Circular Economy and Law of the People*s Republic of China on Product Quality, protecting the environment, preventing pollution from the co-processing of solid waste in cement kilns and promoting advances in production process and pollution control technologies.
The standard provides the technical requirement of facilities for co-processing of solid waste in cement kilns, requirements on the properties of solid waste put into the kilns and technical requirements of operation, limit for pollution discharges, requirements on pollutant control from production of cement products and requirements on monitoring and supervision.
This is the first issuance of the standard.
Discharge standard of water pollutants for leather and fur making industry (GB 30486-2013) ﹝The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution and Marine Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, protecting the environment, preventing and controlling pollution and facilitating advances in the production process and pollution control technologies in leather and fur making industry.
The standard provides the limit for water pollutants discharged by leather and fur making companies, requirement of monitoring and supervision and special discharge limit of water pollutants in key regions. Related national pollution discharge standards on air pollutants (odor) and environmental noise apply to above companies and national standard on pollution control from solid waste apply to the identification, treatment and disposal of solid waste.
This is the first issuance of the standard.
Environmental protection technical specification for co-processing of Solid wastes in cement kiln (HJ 662-2013) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of Chinathe Law of People*s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Pollution by Solid WastesAir Pollution Prevention and Control LawLaw on Promotion of Circular Economy and Decision of the State Council on the Implementation of the Outlook on Scientific Development and Strengthening Environmental Protection, standardizing the management of solid waste through co-processing, preventing secondary pollution from the process of co-processing solid waste and their products and protecting the environment and human health.
The standard provides environmental technical requirements on the choice of facilities for co-processing solid waste in cement kilns, construction and rebuilding of equipment, operation and pollution control.
Technical requirement for environmental labeling products Battery (HJ 2534-2013 replacing HJ/T 238-2006, HJ/T 239-2006) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, reducing the harmful effect of battery in production and use on the environment and human health and protecting the environment
The standard provides requirements on the raw materials, production process, products, packaging and recycling of batteries. 
The standard made revision to the Technical Requirement for Environmental Labeling Products〞Rechargeable Batteries (HJ/T 238-2006) and the Technical Requirement for Environmental Labeling Products每Hg-free Dry Cells and Batteries (HJ/T 239-2006).
The standard applies to certification of environmental labelling products. 
Technical requirement for environmental labeling products Mosquito-repellent incense (HJ 2533-2013 replacing HJ/T 310-2006) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China and reducing the harmful effect of mosquito-repellent incense in production and use on the environment and human health.
The standard makes requirements on the design of mosquito-repellent incense products, release of harmful substances, packaging and recycling. 
The standard made revision to the Technical Requirement for Environmental Labeling Products每Mosquito-repellent incense Coil (HJ/T 310-2006).
The standard applies to certification of environmental labelling products.
Technical requirement for environmental labeling products Light-duty vehicles (HJ 2532-2013 replacing HJ/T 182-2005) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, reducing the harmful effect of light-duty vehicles in production and use on the environment and human health, protecting environmental quality and safeguarding human health. 
The standard makes requirements on light-duty vehicle emissions, fuel consumption, noise inside the vehicle, toxic and hazardous substances of materials, coating, recyclability and air quality inside the vehicle
The standard made revision to Environmental Labeling Products standard每Light-duty Vehicles (HJ/T 182-2005). 
Technical requirement for environmental labeling products Room air conditioners (HJ 2535-2013 replacing HJ/T 304-2006) The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People*s Republic of China, reducing the harmful effect of room air conditioners in production and use on the environment and human health and protecting the environment
The standard makes requirements on the design of air conditioners, production process, energy consumption, noise, content of toxic and harmful substances and recyclability.
The standard made revision to Technical Requirement for Environmental Labeling ProductsㄜRoom Air Conditioners (HJ/T 304-2006).
The standard applies to certification of environmental labelling products.
