The standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Noise Pollution and controlling urban environmental noise pollution. It stipulates the operational noise limit applicable to urban construction site at different stage of the construction and is supplemented by related measurement method. The standard is applicable to the noise emitted by construction site during urban construction operation period.
