The standard stipulates the standard value of plumb vibration acceleration grade (as follows) of various types of urban areas. It is applicable to consecutive steady state vibration, shock vibration and irregular vibration. The standard is supplemented by related measurement method. The standard values for applicable area in the daytime and at night are the followings respectively: special residential area: 65, 65; residential area and area for culture and education purpose of use: 70, 67; areas for mixed purpose of use and commercial center: 75, 72; industrial area: 75, 72; area along both sides of trunk line: 75, 72; area along both sides of trunk rail line: 80, 80.
