This Standard is applicable to the analysis of strontium-90 in drinking water, surface water and effluent from nuclear industry. Determination range: 0.01～10 Bq/L (0.000000000001～0.000000001Ci/L). Disturbance determination: the existence of yttrium-91 will interfere with rapid determination of strontium-90 in water. When the concentrations of cerium-144 and promethium-147 are 100 times more than that of strontium-90, it may lead to higher strontium-90 analytical results by rapid method.
