This Standard is applicable to various land fixed nuclear power plants employing light-water reactor (also nuclear co-generation plant). It presents requirements for such aspects as the site selection, design, construction, operation, decommissioning, expansion, reform or operation alteration of nuclear power plants. It specifies such contents as the annual emission amount of gaseous, liquid and radioactive waste from nuclear power plants under normal operation, monitoring and emission management methods for such waste; emergency protection level in case of accidents; and storage and transportation methods for radioactive waste.
