This Standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (Trial), appropriately using industrial slag as building materials, preventing the use of industrial slag with excessive level of radioactivity as building materials, protecting the environment, safeguarding public health and promoting economic development. It is applicable to industrial slag used for building materials.
