This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, protecting the environment, safeguarding people’s health, and regulating the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in solid waste. This standard provides the isotope dilution HRGC-HRMS for determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in solid waste. This standard is an amendment to Determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins and Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-furans by Isotope Dilution HRGC/HRMS (HJ/T 77-2001). It shall replace the requirements in HJ/ T77-2001 for the determination of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in solid waste, as of the day it goes to effect. This standard shall apply to the sampling of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxin (PCDDs) and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans (PCDFs) in solid waste, the treatment of such samples, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis. It shall not apply to gaseous articles and substances put in containers for such analyses.
