This standard shall apply to fly ash emitted by wet flue-gas of thermal power plants for agricultural use and that have been air slaked for over one year. This standard includes 11 indicators for their maximum allowable contents in acid, neutral, and alkali soils, for example, 5mg/kg of total cadmium in acid soils and 10mg/kg in neutral and alkali soils. The standard stipulates that fly ash is used for granular soil but not sandy soil. The standard also provides monitoring approaches.
