This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Law of People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes and preventing the secondary pollution caused by the storage and disposal sites of general industrial solid wastes. This standard stipulates the siting, design, operation and management, closure, pollution control and monitoring of common industrial solid wastes. This standard is the first of its kind.
