This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Law of People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes, preventing the import of solid wastes that can not be used as raw materials, regulating the examination and permission process for import of solid wastes used as raw materials, and controlling the environmental pollution caused by imported wood and wood articles wastes used as raw materials. This standard is one of the standards targeted for the environmental protection of imported solid wastes and shall apply to the import management of wood and wood articles wastes listed in the inventory of solid wastes used as raw materials.
