The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Protection by Solid Waste, supporting the implementation of GB 18484 and standardizing testing the performance of incineration facilities. The current standard specifies the testing contents, procedure and technical requirements involved in performance testing for facilities of hazardous waste (including medical waste) incineration. The current standard is applicable to testing the performance of hazardous waste (including medical waste) incineration facilities. However, the current standard is not applicable to testing the performance of cement kiln co-treatment facilities.
