This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Water Pollution, and setting standards for the construction, operation, maintenance, and management of wastewater treatment projects for constructed wetlands. This standard provides technical specifications on the general requirements, process design, construction and environmental check and acceptance, and operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants for constructed wetlands. This standard shall apply to the treatment of outlets from municipal wastewater treatment plants and sewage treatment plants as well as the treatment of other wastewater similar to municipal wastewater. It may also be the technical basis for the design, construction, environmental check and acceptance of projects upon completion, and the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment projects for constructed wetlands. This standard is the first version.
