The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Atmospheric Pollution, Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environment Pollution by Solid Waste and Standard for Pollution Control on the Municipal Solid Waste Incineration, standardizing the design, construction, operation, maintenance and management of filter-bag dust removal system of garbage incinerator, preventing and controlling the smoke pollution by garbage incineration, protecting the environment and ensuring human health. The current standard specifies the technical requirements for the design, construction, operation and management of filter-bag dust removal system of garbage incinerator. The current standard is applicable to bag filters of municipal solid waste incineration. It can be served as technical bases for activities such as EIA, feasibility study, design, construction, installation check & acceptance, environmental protection check & acceptance and operation management of this kind of projects. Other projects on bag filters of municipal solid waste incineration may refer to the current standard. The current standard is issued for the first time in China.
