The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing laws and regulations such as Environmental protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Water Pollution; standardizing the construction, operation and management of sugar industry wastewater treatment project; controlling the pollution of sugar industry wastewater and facilitating technological progress for the treatment of sugar industry wastewater. The current standard specifies the technical requirements for the design, construction, installation, check & acceptance and operational management of sugar industry wastewater treatment projects. The current standard is released for the first time in China.
