The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing the Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law, regulating development and management of electrostatic precipitation engineering, controlling dust emissions, improving environmental quality and promoting technical progress of electrostatic precipitation industry. The standard provides technical requirement on the design, installation, commissioning, check & acceptance and operation of electrostatic precipitation engineering. The standard is for guidance only. This is the first issuance of the standard.
