The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Protection, Law of the People's Republic of China on Environment Impact Assessment, Regulations on Environmental Management of Construction Projects, carrying out Regulations on Environmental Protection Check & Acceptance of Completed Construction Projects, and standardizing environmental protection check & acceptance of completed highway construction projects. The current standard specifies the general requirement and implementation program for environmental protection check & acceptance of completed highway construction projects as well as the requirement for compiling the investigation report. The current standard is applicable to the compilation of the Report on Environmental Protection Check and Accept of Completed Construction Project according to regulations. The highway construction project in need of completing the Investigation Form on Environmental Protection Check and Acceptance of Completed Construction Projects may refer to this standard. 　 The current standard is released for the first time in China.
