The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment and Regulations on the Administration of Construction Project Environmental Protection, standardizing and guiding environmental check and acceptance of completed construction projects on development of oil and natural gas. The current standard specifies the scope, contents, technical methods and requirements for environmental protection check and acceptance of completed construction projects on development of petroleum & natural gas on land or foreshore. The current standard is applicable to environmental protection check and acceptance of completed new, reform or expansion projects on development of petroleum & natural gas on land or foreshore. The current standard is issued for the first time in China.
