The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementing Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China, protecting the environment, preventing and controlling pollution and standardizing site inspection on industrial pollution sources. The current standard specifies the preparation, main contents and technical focuses of field inspection on industry environmental pollution source. The current standard is applicable to field inspection on industry environmental pollution sources conducted by competent environmental protection departments at all levels. The current standard is issued for the first time in China.
