The standard was formulated for the purpose of implementing the Marine Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (on trial) and preventing environmental protection from wastewater and waste gas of the shipbuilding industry. It applies to shipyards, machinery, meters and arming manufacturers of the country.
