This Standard specifies the principle & norm for the measurement of environmental terrestrial gamma-radiation dose rate. The current Standard is applicable to the measurement of environmental terrestrial gamma-radiation dose rate in the vicinity of nuclear facilities and other radiation devices. It is applicable to the measurement of environmental terrestrial gamma-radiation dose rate in the vicinity of other facilities.
