This Standard specifies the basic requirements for the siting, design, construction, closure, supervision, safety analysis and EIA for the disposal of solid low-and intermediate level radioactive wastes in rock cavities. It is applicable to the disposal of solid low-and intermediate level radioactive wastes in waste shaft, existing artificial cavities, natural cavities and rock cavities exclusively excavated for the disposal of waste.
