This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, and Law of the People’s Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes, protecting the environment, safeguarding the human health, and setting standards for the determination of acrolein, acrylonitrile and acetonitrile in solid wastes and their leachate. This standard specifies the headspace-gas chromatography method used to determine acrolein, acrylonitrile and acetonitrile in solid wastes and their leachate.
