This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Pollution by Solid Wastes and the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Radioactive Pollution and other laws and regulations, and controlling the environmental pollution caused by nonferrous metal scraps from the imported solid wastes as raw materials. This standard specifies the specifications for the environmental control of nonferrous metal scraps from imported solid wastes as raw materials. As one of the standards for the environmental protection of imported solid wastes, this standard shall apply to the management of nonferrous metal scraps from imported solid wastes as raw materials.
