The Guideline for Identification of Solid Wastes (on trial) is released for the purpose of implementing Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes, and enhancing the environmental management of solid wastes. This guideline shall be effective as of April 1, 2006. This guideline shall apply to the identification of solid and semi-solid wastes stipulated by the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Wastes but not to the determination of H.S. code.
