The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementation of Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste, preventing and controlling environment pollution and protecting the environment and human health. The current standard presents general technical requirements for design, construction, check & acceptance, operation and maintenance of the projects on treatment and disposal of solid waste. The current standard is a guiding document and provides a reference for relevant parties to treat and dispose solid waste. The current standard is released for the first time.
