The current standard is developed for the purpose of implementation of Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, protecting eco environment and assessing environmental risk of tailings pond. The current standard specifies the general principle, contents, procedures, methods and technical requirements for assessing environmental risks of tailings pond. Annexes A, B, C and D of the current standard are normative annexes. Annex E is informative annex. The current standard is released for the first time.
