This standard is formulated for the purposes of enforcing the Environment Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China and Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People’s Republic of China, protecting the environment, safeguarding the human health, and providing for the performance and quality of the continuous emission monitoring system used to test the nonmethane hydrocarbons in stationary sources. This standard specifies the specifications and testing items and methods of the said system. The appendixes A and C to this standard are normative, and the Appendix B is referential.
