This standard is formulated for the purpose of implementing Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People’s Republic of China and Regulations on the Administration of Construction Project Environmental Protection, protecting the environment, and setting standards and providing guidance for the environmental impact assessment of construction projects of pesticide. This standard provides the general principles, contents and methods for the environmental impact assessment of construction projects of pesticides (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, preparations, and intermediates). This standard shall apply to the environmental impact assessment of all the new, rebuilt, and expanded construction projects of pesticides. The environmental impact assessment of regional plans concerning pesticides can refer to this guideline. This standard is the first version.
